As the winter sports season begins, Rocky Ford Athletics would like to remind you that we stream only our home events. The livestream for home events is free. Otero College will be hosting a Frost Fest event for the community on December 6th, from 4-7 p.m. This is a free event and open to the community. There will be an ice skating rink, a tree lighting ceremony as well as fun holiday themed booths with activities, crafts, holiday treats, a petting zoo and more. Santa and Mrs. Clause will also be in attendance. Please see the flyer for more information.

Just a reminder: When attending events at Rocky Ford Jr/Sr High School, please do not park in the bus pick-up/drop-off area of the parking lot until after 4:30pm. Thank you for your cooperation.

RFJSHS Pictures have arrived! They will be sent home with students today. Picture re-takes for our building are scheduled for Wednesday, December 6. beginning at the start of the school day.

**JIS** UPDATE Picture retakes will be Wednesday, December 6th for Jefferson Intermediate School.

**JIS** School pictures arrived this morning and will be given to your students today. We are planning on having our picture retake day this Thursday, November 30th here at Jefferson. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

RFJSHS is cancelling all HS and JH sprts practices this afternoon. We request you make arrangements to have your student picked up at our regular dismissal time @ 4:00pm. Thank you.

All Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for today, November 16 will be postponed and rescheduled at a later date. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held as scheduled tomorrow, November 17 from 8am-12pm.

All Rocky Ford Schools will remain on lockout (secure) status for the remainder of the school day, per the recommendation of the Rocky Ford Police Department. Students will not be allowed to leave until regular dismissal time. Dismissal will occur at the regular time and buses will run as usual.

The Student of the Week lunch that was scheduled today at Washington Primary School has been cancelled.

An unarmed individual entered Rocky Ford Jr/Sr High School this morning, and did not check in at the office. He was confronted by administration and escorted out of the building. RFJSHS initiated a lockdown and the police were notified. All schools remain on a modified lockout at this time. No students/staff may come or go from campuses at this time. All students will remain in the building for lunch and recess.

WPS/JIS: Elementary Accountability Meeting on November 15th at 5:30pm at WPS Computer Lab. Come and learn what is going on with K-6th grade.

WPS/JIS: Just a reminder that we have Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17th. Watch for your reminder letter for the date and time we have you scheduled. Conferencing with your child's teacher is so important for your child's success, so if you need to reschedule please contact us.
