National FFA Week at Rocky Ford Jr./Sr. High School wrapped up yesterday, and what a great week it was!
Each day featured a different dress-up theme, giving students a fun way to show their spirit. On Thursday, we celebrated the official colors of FFA with Blue and Gold Day, while RF FFA students proudly wore their official dress attire all day. They looked sharp and represented FFA with pride!

Shoutout to our amazing RFJSHS students from Helping Our World (HOW) and the Youth Advisory Team (YAT)! 🎨❤️ On Thursday, the 13th, these dedicated volunteers spent the day assisting in elementary art classes, working in 30-minute blocks to help young students create special Valentine’s Day projects. Their kindness and leadership made a big impact, and we’re so proud of their commitment to giving back!

¡Noticias emocionantes: Oportunidad adicional de desayuno para los estudiantes de RFJSHS! Nos complace anunciar que a partir del lunes 7 de febrero, los estudiantes de RFJSHS tendrán una segunda oportunidad para desayunar cada día. Un desayuno "Grab & Go" estará disponible para los estudiantes de secundaria durante el período de transición entre la 1ª y 2ª hora, el cual se ha extendido a 9 minutos para acomodar esta opción.
El desayuno caliente tradicional seguirá sirviéndose antes de la primera campana cada mañana. El desayuno "Grab & Go" incluirá opciones convenientes y portátiles como muffins, panes para el desayuno, una opción de proteína (como queso), fruta y jugo o leche.
Por favor, tenga en cuenta:
Los estudiantes solo pueden recibir un desayuno por día.
Aquellos que ya hayan comido el desayuno caliente no serán elegibles para el desayuno "Grab & Go", pero pueden tomar una pieza de fruta.

Exciting News: Additional Breakfast Opportunity for RFJSHS Students!
We are pleased to announce that starting Monday, February 7, RFJSHS students will have a second opportunity to eat breakfast each day! A Grab & Go Breakfast will be available to Junior and Senior High students during the passing period between 1st and 2nd hour, which has been extended to 9 minutes to accommodate this option.
The traditional hot breakfast will still be served before the first bell each morning. The Grab & Go Breakfast will include convenient, portable items such as muffins, breakfast breads, a protein option (like cheese), fruit, and juice or milk.
Please note:
Students may only receive one breakfast per day.
Those who have already eaten the hot breakfast will not be eligible for Grab & Go but are welcome to take a piece of fruit.
We hope this additional breakfast option helps ensure all students have the opportunity to start their day with the nutrition they need!

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is excited to once again offer a week-long residential summer program from June 8-14, 2025. This program is designed for high school students interested in careers in veterinary medicine, science, and animal or human health. Please see the attached flyer for detailed information.
