Junior High Boys’ Basketball Parent Meeting
There will be a Parent Meeting for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys tomorrow evening at 5:30 p.m. in the Lower Cafeteria.
The first Open Gym Practice will begin right after the meeting in the Aux Gym.
We look forward to kicking off a great season!

Help Shape School Meals at Rocky Ford School District!
At Rocky Ford School District, we’re always working to improve the meals we serve to students. That’s
why we’re excited to partner with Chartwells K12 on the School Meals Report Card. This nationwide
survey gives students, parents, families, and staff the chance to share feedback on school meals.
The survey only takes a few minutes and is completely anonymous with no identifying information
collected. It will be open from October 13 to November 7.
Take the survey now, and let’s work together to make school meals even better!
October Count Day Fun!
Yesterday our students celebrated October Count Day in style with a special Hat Day! From cowboy hats to ball caps, students and staff showed off their favorites.
Students also earned tickets for chances at fun prizes, and the big winners were our classes with the highest attendance. Several elementary classes had perfect attendance (what a tie!), so they’ll each be enjoying an ice cream party. At RFJSHS, the 7th grade class came out on top with the best attendance and will celebrate with ice cream too.

Law enforcement has investigated the recent rumors thoroughly and found no evidence of any credible threat to our schools at this time. Law enforcement is confident that our schools are safe. They’re learning and growing through a variety of leadership activities led by the Colorado State FFA Officers. We’re proud of our students for getting involved—and they’re looking sharp in their brand-new chapter t-shirts! 💙💛

RFSD Parents and Community - This afternoon, during the JH volleyball game, we briefly went into lockdown out of an abundance of caution due to a reported possible threat nearby. Police responded quickly and confirmed there was no credible threat. The lockdown was lifted and everyone was safe. We appreciate your patience and support.
