All Rocky Ford School District Parents: We will be having a joint Accountability Meeting tonight at 6:00pm in the new Cafeteria located at the Jr/Sr High School Building. We will be sharing the schedules and answering any questions that you may have regarding the combining of Elementary and Secondary on to one campus.

Rocky Ford FFA's Tyler Fehrenbach was selected as president of the San Isabel District V FFA. Tyler will preside over all district meetings and be instrumental in planning and organizing all district activities. Rocky Ford FFA advisors Teresa Walz and Wyatt Mincic will serve as district advisors for the upcoming year.
Rocky Ford FFA's Ag Mechanic Team won 1st place at the district level and 12th at the regional level. Individually at district Hansel (Omar) Ocana won 1st place and Alex Marchand-Fierro was 3rd. The team is coached by Advisor Wyatt Mincic.
Rocky Ford FFA's Livestock Judging Team has had a successful year! They placed first at the district level, 6th at the regional level and 18th at the state level earning Bronze Team status. Hazen Bamber and Kaylee Tucker both earned Bronze recognition and Donavyn West earned Silver recognition. The team is coached by their advisor, Teresa Walz.
**JIS** Our band concert is tonight! The concert is set to start at 6pm at the RFJSHS gym. 6th grade students need to be at the gym by 5:00pm and 5th grade students need to be there by 5:30pm. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Bruce at zoe.bruce@rockyford.k12.co.us

Don't forget to mark your calendars for Field Day at Washington Primary and Jefferson Intermediate! JIS Field Day will be held on Tuesday, May 28th at JIS. 5th and 6th Grade will participate from 8:30am-11:30am and 3rd and 4th Grade will participate from 12:30pm-3:30pm. WPS Field Day will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at WPS from 9:30am-11am. All family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.
