**RFJSHS** Our new buzz-in system was installed on the gym foyer door at RFJSHS on April 22. Please push the silver button and you will be buzzed in by a staff member. Thank you for your patience while we adjust to our new system. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
**WPS** If your student asked for Ice Cream Social tickets to sell, they will be sent home with them today! If your child needs tickets to sell, please have them return their note. Remember that tickets are $2 each, if you would like more tickets please let your students' teacher know. Tickets can also be bought at the door the day of the event.

**WPS** Our 25th Annual Ice Cream Social is coming up!
May 2nd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. This fundraiser helps to pay for field trips and other student activities. We are having a friendly competition between classes to see who can sell the most tickets! There will be a surprise for the class and individual that sells the most tickets! Please look for a note coming home this week.

Otero College is hosting a Job Fair on April 18, 2024. This event is open to the public. RFJSHS students interested in attending are encouraged to do so but must fill out a pre-arranged absence form. Please see the attached flyer for details.

RFJSHS students were able to experience the rare event of a solar eclipe! The wonder and glory of this unique event was amazing! A fun opportunity to take a break from the intesity of State testing. We were honored to have staff from Central Office join us as well. Thank you to Mr. Duff and Mrs. Jaramillo for the image of the sun and moon near the peak of the event.

**JEFFERSON** Thank you to everyone who supported our Spring Fundraiser at Jefferson Intermediate. As a reward to students who sold over 10 items, the principal was duct taped to the gym wall during our morning Town Meeting and Awards Assembly. She was a great sport and luckily was down within the hour.
*JEFFERSON* Our fundraiser arrived earlier than expected. If you are available, you can come to the school after 2:30pm to pick up fundraising items. Please come to the front door and go to the gym. All items must be picked up today and must be signed out with the Student Council sponsors. Thank you again for all your support!
