Reminder: The In-Person Town Hall meeting to address questions from the community about the proposed new construction and Bond 4A is tonight at the RFJSHS auditorium at 7 pm. We will limit attendance and follow local health regulations. Initially, we planned to present the meeting on the district's Facebook page, but we now will broadcast it on the Vote Yes Committee's Facebook page. If you cannot be at the meeting, you may submit your questions below or post them during the Facebook live.

Colorado Free College Application tomorrow - 10.13.20. Seniors - get out there and apply to Colorado Colleges!
We are hosting an in-person Town Hall meeting on October 13th in the RFJSHS Auditorium at 7 pm. The goal is to present the facts of the proposed construction project and Bond 4A through questions directly from community members. The number of people in attendance is limited per health regulations. Those in attendance will have their temperature taken at the door, will be required to wear a mask and will be asked to follow social distancing rules. We will provide notecards and pens for community members to write their questions and have people designated to collect and read the questions. The Question and Answer Town Hall meeting will also be broadcast live on our district Facebook page. The Rocky Ford School District would like to remind the community that there are limitations on spectators at the football game this Friday. The district will distribute tickets ahead of the game. Each spectator (including children) will need to present their ticket, pay the appropriate gate fee, wear a face mask, and follow social distancing. Children will be asked to remain seated with their families. Unattended children will not be permitted to enter. Thank you for helping us follow the health guidelines.
El Distrito Escolar de Rocky Ford quisiera recordarle a la comunidad que hay limitaciones para los espectadores en el juego de fútbol de este viernes. El distrito distribuirá boletos antes del juego. Cada espectador (incluidos los niños) deberá presentar su boleto, pagar la tarifa de entrada correspondiente, usar una máscara facial y seguir el distanciamiento social. RFHS state softball playoff game tomorrow at 4pm: $10.00 adults, $6.00 student and senior citizens. Safety Protocols: temperature and health screen checks will be required. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation while we safely admit you to the ball field.
RFJSHS 11th grade students: The PSAT/National Merit Scholarship test will be on Wednesday, October 14, at 8:00 am. Students must sign up in the Counseling Office by Monday, October 12.

RFJSHS Picture Day tomorrow - 9.30.20. At home learning students who have a T/TH schedule need to come to the school tomorrow between 10am - 2pm to take your school picture.
Rocky Ford School District Grab and Go Meals are distributed from 11:30 am – 12:00 pm Monday through Thursday at the Rocky Ford Junior Senior High School bus loop. Lunch and breakfast for the next morning will be provided. All students up to the age of 18 may eat for free.

At approximately 3:00 pm today (Sep. 28) the health department contacted Rocky Ford School District to request that all Washington Primary School students be quarantined through October 6th. Therefore, Washington Primary School will be on remote learning from September 29th through October 6th and students will return for in-person instruction on Wednesday, October 7th. RFJSHS Friday School begins on 10.2.20. Safety protocols are in place to ensure that cohorts remain with cohorts. Your child must come to the scheduled time that he/she is scheduled for in order to maintain the cohort fidelity. If you have a question about what time your child is scheduled, you can call Mrs. Viescas or talk with your child’s first hour teacher. Friday School provides academic support for students that are failing classes.
