The first day of school for Rocky Ford School District is Monday, August 12, 2024. If you have not registered your student(s), please do so before Monday. There are additional registration forms that can be picked up at the school your student attends.

If your student attended a RF school last year or has attended a Rocky Ford school after 2020, please register your student as a RETURNING student. New student registration is for students who have never attended a Rocky Ford school.
Registration for all Rocky Ford School District Students will be Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1 from 1-7pm at Jefferson Intermediate School Cafeteria. Every student MUST be registered before the first day of school. Some forms are available to be completed online at https://rfsd.almastart.com/. Other required forms must be filled out at registration. The Chromebook fee for Jr/Sr High School students is $30. Athletic fees are $25 for Junior High students and $30 for High School students. All fees can be paid at registration. Craig Ortega will be available at registration for students who need a sports physical. We look forward to seeing you!
The Rocky Ford School District is seeking bids for the purchase and removal of two 1972 Elder Classroom Trailers from Washington Primary School located at 709 South 11 th Street, Rocky Ford. The trailers will be available to move between the weeks of October 14-25, 2024. The purchaser will be responsible for the removal and transportation of the trailers from the school property. The district will hold a walkthrough and answer any questions about the removal of the trailers on Monday, July 29 th at 10:00am at Washington Primary School, 709 South 11th Street, Rocky Ford. Bids for one or both trailers must be received at the Superintendent Office, 601 South 8th Street, Rocky Ford, before 4:00pm on Monday, August 5, 2024. The Rocky Ford School District reserves the right to accept or reject all bids which the School Board concludes to be in the best interest of the district.
RFSD is experiencing intermittent issues with the phone system this week (July 8-12). Electrical and internet systems need to be upgraded and transitioned to new components as part of the PK-12 Addition/Renovation construction project. On Thursday, July 11, we anticipate an outage that could last all day. We apologize for any inconvenience. The phone system should be fully operational again on Monday, July 15.
Parents/Guardians, ALL incoming 6th graders for the 2024-25 school year will need their Tdap vaccine and all incoming kindergarten students will need their completed vaccines, before the first day of school August 12th. If you need to file an immunization exemption you may do so at https://cdphe.colorado.gov/school-required-vaccine-exemptions, this form needs to be filled out yearly and is due before August 12, 2024.
