RFJSHS regrets to announce that due to impending weather, tonight's (1/20/23) games have been cancelled. This includes both home basketball and JV Wrestling in LJ. We are in the process of rescheduling.

WPS/JIS- All WPS/JIS Students and Staff will be attending the Groundbreaking Ceremony today at the Jr/Sr High Campus. We will be transporting via buses beginning at 1:30pm and returning to school immediately following.

Due to the weather, Rocky Ford School District will be moving today's groundbreaking event. It will take place inside the high school gym, at 2:00 pm. All parents and community members are welcome to join us!

Rocky Ford School District is looking forward to welcoming back students and staff on Tuesday, Jan. 3. As we return, you will notice changes at the Junior Senior High campus. Construction is beginning on the PK-12 Addition/Renovation and changes to the site are necessary for safety. The east side of the school will be fenced off, the main entrance is switching to the gym foyer, and the bus loop will be on the west side of the parking lot. RFJSHS is under a transformation. After months of work "behind the scenes" we are beginning to see evidence that our long-awaited project is beginning! Tree removal was the first step. This happened a few weeks back. Recognizing that not all of our community drives past the campus on a regular basis, we will do our best to keep you all updated on the progress using a variety of media! Mark your calendars for our January 11 groundbreaking!

WPS/JIS: Parents/Guardians, We need you all to follow the dismissal procedures. For emergency and safety reasons we need to have designated areas free of vehicles. Remember to get in the PickUp lines if you are picking up your child at either WPS or JIS. DO NOT park in front of WPS to pick up your child or at Valley Wide to pick up JIS students. JIS students are not to be walking over to get picked up in front of WPS. We need to keep the dismissal procedures as streamlined as possible. Be aware of posted signs and cones. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe.

In preparation for the PK-12 addition/renovation construction project, several trees on the campus of the Junior Senior High School will be torn down in the next few days (Nov. 29 - Dec. 2). Please be cautious of the work going on while visiting the campus for other activities. We want everyone to be safe while we navigate the construction project for the next two years!
