The COVID-19 vaccine is now available for kids ages 16 to 18. A vaccination clinic is set for Friday, April 16th at the Rocky Ford Public Safety Building located at 300 South Main Street from 10 am - 1 pm. Please schedule your appointment on the following site: schools.ochdvaxnow.com
RFJSHS Prom: We are hopeful that public health will allow students to attend prom without a mask. For this option to be a possibility, it would involve administering the BinaxNOW rapid COVID test to the students. The school district will continue to pursue this and will notify parents and students if permission is granted. Stay tuned....
Congratulations to our 2021 homecoming court!

BOE Agenda for April 4th Meeting

Menu for the week of April 5th

Attention JIS Parents/Guardians!
The following changes are being made at JIS with the current expectations that align with public health orders and guidance from CDE/CDPHE:
For students that are 10-years-old or younger, face masks are optional. If their parents want them to wear a face mask, they are welcome to wear a face mask.
Students will have desks closer together, maintaining a 3 foot distance.
We will begin to mix cohorts for instructional purposes, with groupings for Reading and Math across the grade level.
All students will be eating in the lunchroom as a grade level seated 3 ft. apart.
We still need to wear masks and be socially distanced by 3 ft. when we are in the hallways; as well as when lined up for arrival, lunch, and dismissal.
Recess will remain with students assigned to an area, remaining in their cohort for now.

Wheels2Work: Santa Fe Trail BOCES is sponsoring a career exploration day for area 7th & 8th graders on May 12, 2021. Area businesses and employers, please see the attached flyer for more information.
