Rocky Ford FFA students brought home an incredible collection of awards this year, showcasing their hard work, skill, and dedication:

  • Donavyn West

    • Grand Champion Market Steer

    • Senior Beef Showmanship Champion

    • Donavyn has been a member of Rocky Ford FFA for four years and a 4-H member since he was a cloverbud. This fall, he will attend Kansas State University to study veterinary medicine.

  • Cayson Van Dyk

    • Grand Champion of Market Beef Class #1 with his 1,181-pound steer

    • Vice President of Rocky Ford FFA

  • Grady Van Dyk

    • Grand Champion of Market Beef Class #2

    • Grady’s brother Cayson stepped into the ring for him after Grady broke his wrist. Grady will be joining Junior High Ag this year.

  • Hansel (Omar) Ocana

    • Showed Grady Van Dyk’s market goat when Hansel’s own goat was injured, demonstrating teamwork and FFA spirit.

  • Cayson & Grady Van Dyk

    • Both Van Dyk steers competed in the Grand Drive, with three of the five steers in the drive owned and shown by Rocky Ford FFA members.

  • Annesyiah Camacho

    • Farm Mechanics Champion for her welding project

  • Emilio Vallejos

    • Reserve Champion in Farm Mechanics for his picnic table
