Gisselle Rocha (WPS Teacher), Shelby Price (WPS Teacher), Selene Ortiz (JIS Teacher) - We would like to recognize Gisselle, Shelby, and Selene for their efforts to complete the alternative licensure program at the same time they are teaching full-time for the district. To qualify for the alternative licensure program, individuals must have a Bachelor’s degree and a full-time contract with a school district. It is a challenging way to complete a teaching license but these three are up to the task. We appreciate their hard work and their contributions to the district!
Javier Ortiz (JIS Lead Custodian), Howard Carter (RFJSHS Lead Custodian) - We would like to recognize Javier and Howard for their efforts to troubleshoot the issue with the boiler system at Jefferson School. They both spent a significant amount of time outside of their regular duties to work on the issue. It is great to have a maintenance staff that cares so much about the school buildings and the learning environment for our students and teachers!
