Staff:
Tammy Mameda, JH ELA Teacher: In addition to being a great teacher and mentor,
Tammy is also advocating for our district with others. I was approached recently by
someone looking to enter the teaching profession and the conversation was preceded with,
“I ran into Tammy Mameda the other day at the coffee shop…” We want to thank Tammy
for being a great advocate!
Students:
Corey Zimmerman, 12th Grade: Corey was awarded the Daniels Fund Scholarship!
Natalia Rodriguez, 12th Grade: Natalia is a great representative for our school and
specifically our Ag program. She was recently nominated and selected to be an area
director for WIFE (Women Involved in Farm Economics). We are proud of Natalia!
(According to Ag Journal Online, “WIFE was established in December 1976 as a
nonpartisan voice for women in agriculture and provides scholarships through its
nonprofit foundation.”)
